Brucellosis is the most common bacterial zoonotic infection in the world and in our country. It can cause intrafamilial epidemics especially in families dealing with animal husbandry in rural areas. In this study, it was aimed to examine the clinical, laboratory and epidemiological data of acute and subacute brucellosis encountered in 6 people from a family of 25 people who are engaged in animal husbandry and live together in a two-storey house. As seen in our study, similar to the literature, clinical, laboratory and epidemiological screening of family members living in the same place after an index brucellosis case is detected facilitates early diagnosis and treatment, and is extremely important in preventing possible complications.
