Abstract

The scientific ethics deals with the ways in which scientists in scientific production have to act in this action. The scientific ethics, of course, covers the scientific research ethics and publication ethics in this production process. However, due to both academic career concerns and material interests, many problems arise with regard to publication ethics. This article in health sciences summarizes the major categories of ethical violations encountered in the submission, review and publication of scientific articles. In this study, data production and forgery, plagiarism, repetitive and copy publication, conflict of interest, unfair writing such as ethical violations are explained. However, the principles of publication ethics and what should be done to prevent ethical violations have been mentioned.
